MAXXI Auditorium – admittance free subject to availability
Describing the very diverse world of mental health through images.
The festival, which has reached its eight year, was born with the aim of using cinema so as to provide a window onto the human mind and enable the audience and the authors to gaze at people who undergo change and treatment, and vice versa.
The prizes
The final night of the festival will see the Jury – whose members are Paola Randi, Giona Nazzaro, Antonella Cammarota, Paolo Girardi e Alessia De Stefano – award the 1,000 euro “Fausto Antonucci” Prize to the best short film and the 1,000 euro Jorge Garcia Badaracco – Fondazione Maria Elisa Mitre” Prize to the best full-length film. Moreover, the festival will award the Lo Spiraglio – Fondazione Roma Solidale onlus Prize to actress Anna Foglietta, who has shown great interest in mental health topics. Paolo Virzì, Sergio Rubini, Sergio Castellitto, Carlo Verdone, Alba Rohrwacher, Marco Bellocchio and Giulio Manfredonia were awarded the prize in previous years.
