Through touch and play, we discover forms and composition behind the birth of Studio Aalto’s designs.
Starting with the tactile exploration of models, drawings, and objects, we follow the red thread that unites the curved lines of the Savoy vase, the MIT dormitories and the ceiling of the Viipuri library auditorium.
The activities are designed with the participants of the working group on visual impairment of the MAXXIperTUTTI accessibility project funded by the European Union – Next Generation EU, within the framework of the Ministry of Culture’s call for proposals “Removing physical and cognitive barriers in museums, libraries and archives”.
